It didn't take us long to realize that the durability and high efficiency performance that made the Single PMP so successful would be natural as a double. Like its smaller sibling, the Double is built around a high efficiency precision sealed ball bearing to counter the performance losses inherent in large pulley systems. Solid side plates help prevent foreign object access and reduce snagging and are precisely tensioned for easy one-handed operation and secure placement at any point along the rope. With the Double comes the narrow shape and unique "drop-nose" feature of the becket, allowing for full rotation of a large rescue carabiner without interference with the prusiks. Weight: 20 oz (610.5g). Color: Gold/Grey. Dimensions: 7.1" x 4.17" x 2.22". Sheave 3" x 13mm. Material: Aluminum Strength: 13,488 lbf - 60kN, Becket 6,969 lbf - 31kN (3 Sigm. Specifications: NFPA "G" - General Use 36kN (19.5kN Becket). Accepts ropes up to 13mm. The large 3" (76mm) diameter sheaves (2.5" tread) are uncommon in such a compact size pulley and help to maximize efficiency in rope rescue systems. Up to three rescue sized carabiners fit easily into the large top hole and low profile fasteners help eliminate possibility of snagging. Features Gold and Grey sideplates. All SMC NFPA products are third party tested (by Underwriters Laboratories - UL) as required by NFPA 1983 (2001 edition) standards. All SMC NFPA pulleys have the required certification information stamped on the side plate and the user information is enclosed with each item as required by NFPA.
