"Mike Piazza entered the 2004 season needing only four home runs to tie the record for most homers hit by a catcher. Carlton Fisk held the original record with 351 home runs. On April, 27 2004, Piazza tied the record by hitting crushing a ball to left-center with one out in the sixth off Dodgers pitcher Hideo Nomo at Dodger Stadium. The Dodgers were Piazza's first team and he had, in fact, caught a Nomo no-hitter. This home run moved Mike Piazza into 58th place all-time on the home run list, passing another great, Joe DiMaggio. Piazza would break the record on May 5, 2004, against the Giants by hitting a Jerome Williams pitch over the wall at Shea Stadium. A sure Hall of Famer, Piazza will go down in the record books as one of the greatest hitting catchers of all time. Mike piazza has hand singed this 16x20 photo of him hitting a run HR in the first game after 9/11. A Steiner Sports Certificate of Authenticity is included. "
